Provider Verification
In order for you to receive support from your chosen providers, they must be verified with PlanCare before any services can be provided. Verification is a fairly quick process if your provider has all the right information at hand.

Why do providers need to be verified?
In order for PlanCare to provide services to you, we broker out support services to providers. As PlanCare is an approved Aged Care provider, PlanCare will only work with providers that share the vision and attributes in providing the best possible client experience and support.
To ensure the providers that PlanCare works with have all the right qualification, skillsets and governance in place, they must be verified. Clients should not seek services from a provider until that provider has been verified. Services can ONLY be paid for once a successful verification has been gained by the provider.
What information does a provider have to supply?
In order to be verified, here’s a checklist of information your provider must supply:
For some services, we are required to collect additional evidence of qualification or suitability, these include:
For the following services, no additional qualifications are required:
- Assistance with Daily Living (assisting the client with daily tasks, such as food shopping, social and community participation support)
- Gardening
- Cleaning
- Personal Laundry
- Home Maintenance
- Home Modifications
- Case Management
What happens if the provider doesn't get verified?
If your provider refuses to get verified, unfortunately you cannot use them as a provider. If this happens, you will have to find an alternative provider to provide the services you require. PlanCare works with thousands of pre verified providers, so your Co-Care Partner may be able to help you in providing an alternative provider.
IMPORTANT NOTE: PlanCare cannot make any payment to non verified providers. You must not receive services until the provider has been verified.
